It wasn't until high school that Warren shadowed a meteorologist at a news station here in KC. He used to have a saying when he first learned to talk, "I know it's thunder, but it's lightning," which funny enough is actually a true statement. He would turn the TV on and watch the local Meteorologists for hours. Originally from northwest Olathe, Warren was always fascinated by towering clouds and ominous storms. There, he experienced first-hand just how relentless mother nature can be when a strong EF-3 tornado destroyed part of Andover, Kansas in April of 2022. Warren feels his time in the Wichita news market really enhanced his forecasting skills. He most recently spent time down in Wichita, covering almost 80 counties in Kansas, Nebraska and the Panhandle of Oklahoma. After college, Warren went north to the land of cheese and started his career in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Joseph doing weekend weather while finishing his degree.
